Virtually all homes are not set up for walkers and or wheelchairs.
Accessibility Design Example
The photos below are of a three-year old production home we remodeled a bathroom for accessibility. We removed the enclosed commode closet, removed the step up/step down into the shower, changed the sink vanities to a roll-under vanity for wheelchair access, installed a bidet, opened up the doorways, and installed motion sensors for the lighting amongst a host of other modifications.
This is one of the areas that DeVol Design Build Remodel, LLC specializes in helping clients. www.devoldbr.com It is our sincere hope that you nor your loved ones never require these type of modifications.
